Daily Digest mail out of sync

My Daily Digest mail is “out of sync” / running behind…

For example: yesterday I updated some plugins around 15:00 in the afternoon. The following day, the Daily Digest mail lists the same plugins for an update, which they have already had.

How to solve this issue?

Thanks for the help!
Alwin

@Alwin Everything on your System Report seams fine. Have you altered your Cron Job Schedules in any way via a plugin? The only reason I would see this behavior happening is if your Network isn’t being “Auto Synced” prior to sending our the email. Basically the MainWP Dashboard has stale data when it’s fired off.

This is also being talked about here: Email notifications for updates are always outdated - #5 by pereffect

I did ad some cronjobs in the backend from the site, in DirectAdmin (so not with a plugin):

/wp-content/plugins/mainwp/cron/updatescheck.php > once every 15 minutes
/wp-content/plugins/mainwp/cron/pingchilds.php > once every 15 minutes

I did that because the site does not get any visitors and not any mail was sent. In the meantime I have set up some uptime monitors as well.

Do I have to delete these cronjobs?

@Alwin If you have setup uptime monitors I would remove those yes. There is most likely a conflict in time or something giving you issues.

Oke, I will try if that solves this issue

I have removed the cronjobs and the result is I don’t receive the Daily mails anymore at all…

@Alwin You said you had setup an Uptime Robot monitor in order to hit your MainWP Dashboard correct- ?

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further?

Hi Alwin, is there any improvement regarding the daily email digest?

Hello Bogdan, No because I switched to hosting MainWP local with DesktopServer. So no more daily mails at all for sure

Also, the Server status warning for openssl when hosting on Cloudways still is an issue unfortunately.

For now I will host local, maybe later will run MainWP on Cloudways again, but to many problems and to much time to handle it.

Thanks for the update Alwin, if you want us to check this further, please open a helpdesk ticket so we can collect more info and check what is going on.
