Please consider adding to the manage post area, a feature that would duplicate a post, add it as new/draft. Many times I publish a very similar style/theme/format of post. Having this would cut a ton of time off that task.

Actually, this is there already, just install the Boilerplate extension. Duplicating external content from a simple table overview is not that simpIe suppose. Duplication also is not a core feature and this menu only features the core functionality.

@BeauBrewerDigital To add on to what @phalancs has suggested; You could check out the MainWP Post Plus Extension. It will Allow you to save Drafts to your MainWP WP Post section that you may push out to your Child Sites.
